About Company    : We opened our first restaurant, Ray's Marlin Beach Bar and Grill in Pittsburgh in 2002. Our focus was an extensive beer selection, along with signature specialty drinks, and Home-Cooked, Comfort Food. We created a full-service Pittsburgh restaurant, with a Florida theme. After several years, and numerous reviews, a good customer of ours bought Marlin Beach in 2006.

We moved south, to Florida, which is where we are originally from, AND, we didn't miss the Pittsburgh WEATHER at all. We decided to do another restaurant and opened Ray's Steel City Saloon in 2007. Only this time, we did a Florida restaurant with a Pittsburgh theme. Same focus with great food and a great bar.

5 years later, our son moved to Redmond, to join Microsoft, and ultimately invited us to come out and babysit his dog. We didn't commit at first, however, fell in love with the Pacific Northwest and moved across country. After 2 months of raking leaves and fixing up his house, we decided to stay here and open another restaurant. Ray's Dining Car and Bar is the result. Hopefully, after 12 years of being in this crazy business, we can bring something a bit different to this beautiful area.

Our motto is home-made, comfort-food, at comfortable prices. A family-friendly restaurant, with an extensive beer and liquor selection. Both Keri and I are hands on, giving our best effort to provide you an enjoyable dining experience. We always welcome our customers' comments and suggestions. Welcome to the Ray's family. -Ray
