Cheryl Mejia is a doctor of osteopathic medicine in National Spine & Pain Centers' Hagerstown and Cumberland, MD offices. She brings to her patients a wealth of knowledge in spine and pain issues, including sports-related injuries, and is experienced in many of the latest healing therapies and approaches to chronic pain management. Dr. Mejia earned her medical degree from the Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine in New York, where as a student, she was drawn to the school's mission of serving residents of New York's Harlem neighborhood. She enjoys being a pioneer, which includes being a member of the inaugural class of her medical school, as well as the chief resident of inaugural class of physical medicine and rehabilitation at Nova Southeastern University in South Miami, FL.
