Tony Gamecho, a Pacific Grove native, began working as a flooring installer in 1979. He quickly worked his way up to salesman, sales manager, and then general manager in 1990. After fourteen years in the business he bought out the founding owner and the first thing he did was change the name to Grand Avenue Flooring & Interiors as it remains today. In 2000, Tony knew it was time for the business to begin the transition to the next generation, and he enlisted his daughter, Rebecca Gamecho to become the company window coverings, bedding, and upholstery expert. Rebecca really spearheaded the expansion into these areas, and in 2011 the torch was passed to interior expert Sara Lauderdale. Today, Tony and Sara work together in the Pacific Grove location to offer experienced advice and service for all your flooring and interior needs.
