Loomis Basin Veterinary Clinic has been providing high quality, comprehensive and compassionate veterinary care, exceptional customer service and a neighborly atmosphere since 1975. We see regularly scheduled appointments during our normal office hours. To best meet your needs, we are staffed with doctors and veterinary technicians who are available 24 hours a day, every day, all year long. Loomis Basin provides veterinary excellence, day or night. We are conveniently located only one mile from I-80 with easy freeway access.
Our hospital includes 10 exam rooms, 3 full surgery suites, a large critical care treatment area, laboratory and pharmacy facilities, an intensive care unit, an isolation ward, digital radiography, computed tomography (CT) scanning, ultrasound, remote telemetry, and an assortment of runs and cages for hospitalized patient care.
Over the years we have grown and developed additional services to meet and exceed client expectations. We are proud to employ more than 20 General Practitioners and numerous qualified veterinary technicians and support staff to care for your family pet.
In addition to our community practice, we also offer specialty services including board-certified specialists in internal medicine, oncology, cardiology, radiology, behavioral services and surgery that help us to diagnose and treat your beloved pet with an exceptional combination of skill and kindness.
We pride ourselves on being able to provide general care and advanced veterinary medical care under one roof. In addition, if an unexpected health issue arises, our 24â?"hour emergency service means we are here for you at any time, day or night.
Additionally, we are proud to have been accredited by the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) for over 30 years. We are one of the few clinics in the area that is fully accredited by AAHA -- meeting nearly 1,000 stringent requirements and periodic inspections to attain and retain the accreditation ensuring that we provide your pets with the highest quality health care possible.
