In other words, we are a Doctors Office, Pharmacist, Hospital, Laboratory, Emergency Room, Grocery Store, Salon (grooming and bathing), and Babysitters (boarding and Doggie Daycare).

Brad McClung, DVM, a native of Tiffin, returned in 1981 after graduating summa cum laude from The Ohio State University Veterinary School. He joined his late father, Dr. R.W. McClung, in practice and has enjoyed being a mixed animal practitioner in the region. He enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine and has special interests in dermatology and reproductive medicine. He shares his life with his wife, two children, four dogs, three cats, a horse and assorted farm animals.

Attica Animal Hospital is our satellite office, which we opened in 2004, to better serve our clients. We provide outpatient services in Attica and our hours are by appointment.

McClung's/Attica Animal Hospitals utilize the latest medical, surgical, and diagnostic instruments. We maintain records on our individual patients to ensure timely exams, proper vaccinations, and lifelong medical monitoring. Our Companion Laser Therapy System provides a revolutionary new approach for treating many of our patients' needs. Preventing and managing pain is a fundamental part of quality and compassionate patient care. This FDA approved, deep penetrating light allows relief of pain through the release of endorphins and stimulates the injured cells to heal at a faster rate, with no negative side effects.

Our dedicated staff is trained in all aspects of animal care, comfort, and patient monitoring. We provide 24-hour emergency service, understanding that not all emergencies occur during business hours. For our clients on-the-go, who are unable to schedule an appointment during regular hours, we offer a drop-off option, which allows you to leave your pet with us and then pick him/her up later in the day after services have been provided. We also offer Doggie Daycare.

We recommend several ways to keep your pets identified and safe. Our ResQ Pet Tracking System is designed to reunite you with your lost pet, if that devastating situation should arise. This tiny anti-migration microchip is safe and reliable, and has successfully reunited over 94% of microchipped pets with their families. We also have an IMARC Vet Tag Engraving System that enables us to engrave a pet ID tag for you within seconds. You may choose from an assortment of different shapes, sizes, and colors.

Our hospitals boarding facility has XL Suites to accommodate giant breed dogs comfortably. We use large, fluffy Cabela's beds or cozy chew resistant fleece for pets who enjoy beds. This area has three large windows for lots of natural light. Our hospital has 78 kennels, of varying sizes, so that we can appropriately customize kennel size to dog size.

Our cat boarding room is private, with large cages and soft fleece mats, because sometimes cats are very discriminating guests! They enjoy having their own quiet special place!

Our devoted caretakers offer unique service to the pets that are staying with us. Dogs are leash walked and interacted with three times daily, while all pets appetites and bodily functions are monitored and recorded AM & PM, along with any medications or special requirements your pet may need or desire ( there is no additional charge for administering meds).

McClung's Animal Hospital also offers grooming and bathing, with shampoos and products that can be purchased. Our two in-house groomers have over 30 years combined grooming experience. We also carry the full line of Science Diet Foods and Treats that address specific weight and health concerns, and takes your pet from puppy or kitten to geriatric, with the changing nutritional requirements of age.
