New River Animal Hospital is a modern small animal health facility dedicated to the well-being of pets as well as their owners. Our hospital has seen thousands of pets since opening in 1987. We emphasize client education, preventive medicine, semi-annual physical examinations, and vaccinations. We provide complete medical, radiological, dental, surgical, and nutritional services for cats, dogs and other small companion animals. We also provide professional grooming and boarding services.
Dr. Connie Hyler-Both has served the Hinton area for over 20 years. She is a graduate of Michigan State University College of Veterinary Medicine and is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the West Virginia Veterinary Medical Association, and the American Animal Hospital Association.
We're proud of our hospital and the level of care we provide patients and clients. Our purpose is to provide your pet with outstanding quality care and to provide our clients with superlative customer service through compassion, friendliness, and sensitivity.
Pets, like humans, do not synchronize their illnesses with our appointment book and surgical procedures sometimes take longer than expected so an occasional appointment delay is inevitable. Of course, emergencies may take priority over regular appointments so your understanding is sometimes needed. We do make a sincere attempt to see each client on time. Appointments are seen before walk-ins.
