He explained the problem, gave us the estimated cost. when asked about repair or replacement of this appliance he considered the age and cost of part and advised it would be more advisable to replace it rather than investing in a $190 part on a 7 year old unit. median cost of new one shoud be about $350. Called them that day they were available to come and look and see what was wrong that day. Arrived in the time they said they would and were very friendly and clean. Rep called promptly, especially for a Sunday evening, and was friendly and helpful. Technicians came out and assessed our situation, and were able to open our broken front loading washer/dryer. Repair took much longer, but was due to parts needed form manufacturer were Italian, and had to be specially ordered. As soon as part was in, an appointment was made (next day because I was at work for 24hrs), and our front loading door was fixed. Tech was very clean and friendly.
