Dr. Hassassian is an interventional pain specialist who firmly believes in multi-modality treatment protocols for treatment of pain. Prior to joining National Spine & Pain Centers, he was the Director of the Division of Pain Management at the Center for Advanced Orthopedics & Pain Management. Board certified in Pain Medicine as well as in Anesthesiology, Dr. Hassassian earned his medical degree at Eastern Virginia Medical School, after which he completed an internship in General Surgery at the Eastern Virginia Graduate School of Medicine. He completed his residency in Anesthesiology at New York University (NYU) Medical Center.
