Richard launched the firm in 1998 after graduating with a law degree from the Santa Clara University School of Law. In 2004, he became a certified estate planning specialist through The State Bar of California, a distinction few other lawyers have attained. He shares his understanding of estate planning matters as a popular public speaker for professional groups, nonprofit organizations, and the general public. David Freeman and Rory Morse, the other attorneys at The Dayton Law Firm, P.C., are also alumni of the Santa Clara University School of Law. Both men were introduced to probate administration during judicial internships at law school and bring a high level of skill to their practice of estate law.
