We are a medical practice specializing in medical and surgical treatment for diseases of the skin, hair, and nails. Dr. Spencer is a board-certified dermatologist who opened the practice in 1989. In 1998 she was joined by nurse practitioner Kay Nannet, who has certifications in dermatology, women's health, and primary care. Dr. Bushong is a board-certified dermatologist who has practiced in Anderson and Carmel, Indiana and started seeing patients in our office in 2012. We focus on prevention and treatment of skin disease and offer selected cosmetic procedures. We specialize in treating patients who have all types of diseases of the hair, skin, and nails, including skin cancer, psoriasis, eczema, acne, benign skin lesions, and autoimmune skin diseases. Our office is equipped for skin surgery, advanced medical management of complex skin diseases, and phototherapy for psoriasis and other inflammatory skin diseases. Cosmetic services offered include Botox injections as well as "fillers" such as Radiesse and Juvederm. Chemical peels can help with the appearance of sun-damaged skin, acne and acne scarring, and discolored skin. We offer the Cutera Excel HR Laser, which is capable of many applications. These include permanent hair reduction, facial rejuvenation, reduced redness of rosacea, treatment of unsightly blood vessels, and treatment of acne and acne scarring. We offer our Spencer Dermatology skin care line of products, including treatment for acne-prone skin as well as sun-damaged, aging skin. Other difficult-to-find products we carry as a patient convenience include EltaMD and DML sunscreens, Obaji Tretinoin, Heliocare (anti-oxidant helping to protect against sun damage) and Biafine (cream to help speed healing after acne, burns, or injury).
