LBJ is proud to have served Honda and Acura owners in Middlesex County for more than 25 years.

Personalized service is the backbone of our operation. Unlike most auto repair shops, we welcome you into our service bays. Our expert staff will be glad to walk you through the diagnosis of your car's problem and explain the necessary repairs.

How it all started

In 1973 a young man with a degree in mechanical engineering found himself looking for employment. Jobs in his field were scarce, so he started to work as a mechanic in a Volvo/Honda auto dealership.

At some point, everyone experiences a life-changing moment. This was his. Barry Innerfield (for that was the young manâ?Ts name) fell passionately in love with the little Honda Civic. (We still have one here!)

The course of true love never runs smooth. After Barry left the auto dealer, he spent several years trying other jobs in both mechanical engineering and auto repair. But he never forgot his dream of having a Honda repair shop of his own. In 1986 Barry located space in Melrose, Massachusetts, and opened LBJ. (The initials were for the members of his family, Linda, Barry, and Jerry.)

And more than two decades later, LBJ is still going strong.
