Visit Ray's Shop where he repairs Chevys to Jaguars and everything in between. Ray is an ASE Certified Master Technician with over 28 years in the automotive repair business. We are a home grown and privately owned repair shop. We take pride in all our work. Rays side-kick, Mike, has over 20 years in the auto repair industry.
Our shop is here for your big engine and transmission jobs but gladly assist with all other repairs as well. We are a full service repair shop. Tune Ups, Brakes, Transmission Service, Alternators, Starters, Suspension, Heat and AC.
As a convenience to our customers, we now offer Mobile Repair Service (7 am - 4pm Monday thru Friday) for small to medium repairs for vehicles that do not start or should not be driven. Our Labor and Parts Warranty applies to all mobile repairs so save that big towing fee for minor engine repairs and call us first! We can diagnose your vehicle on location and determin if it is a mobile repair or needs to visit our shop. Our minimum Mobile charge is $50. All other shop rates and fees apply. Our Mobile Service is also equipped for lock outs at a charge of $50..
At 1001 Engines & Transmissions, we stand behind our estimates and work hard to keep you posted on progress or further repairs should we find them. No surprise bills and no inflated repairs. We pride ourselves on honest work. We offer state of the art diagnostic service and a one year warranty on all our repairs.
We always recommend a second opinion on major repairs. More often then not, you will find us less expensive with the same quality parts and repair. Sometimes a quick fix like an engine or transmission exchange isn't necessary. Rebuilding your engine or transmission is always our first choice. It is typically less expensive and gives you the same confidence as a new engine or transmission...because essentially, it is.
We also welcome you to drop off your vehicle after hours. Just drop your keys in the drop box with your contact information. We will diagnose your problems and call you with an estimate. If you need a tow, we use KAR Transport and will add the tow charge (typically $55 if within 10 miles) to your final statement.
