Dr. Raj N. Parekh was drawn to the pain management field through a desire to build long-term relationships with his patients and see their progress over time. He joined the National Spine and Pain Centers Hagerstown office in August 2019 after completing his pain management fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic in Ohio. He holds a bachelor's degree in physiology and neurobiology from the University of Maryland College Park and earned his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Maryland School of Medicine in Baltimore. He completed his internal medicine internship at Medstar Harbor Hospital in Baltimore and anesthesiology residency at Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, D.C.
